Return Policy

Introduction

This Return Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, cancellations, and exchanges of shipping containers purchased through HR Container Service, an online store specializing in standard (10’, 20’, 40’, 45’) and modified containers (e.g., homes, offices, shops). HR Container Service is committed to customer satisfaction and uses hrcontainerservice.com for secure payment processing to ensure safe and transparent transactions.

By placing an order, you agree to this Policy, which supplements our Terms of Service, Payment Policy, and Shipping Policy.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns are eligible under the following conditions due to the specialized nature of shipping containers. Containers must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition as delivered, with no modifications, alterations, or wear beyond standard inspection. Return requests must be made within 30 calendar days of delivery for standard containers and 45 calendar days for modified containers due to their customized nature. Customers must provide a valid order number and proof of purchase, such as a receipt or confirmation email. All containers must pass a return inspection conducted by HR Container Service or our authorized logistics partner to confirm eligibility.

Containers that have been used, modified, or damaged after delivery, as well as those purchased on an “as-is” basis or marked non-returnable at checkout, are not eligible for return.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, customers must contact HR Container Service within the eligible timeframe by emailing info@hrcontainerservice.com or by submitting a request through the customer portal on hrcontainerservice.com, including the order number, reason for return, and clear photos of the container’s condition.

All requests are reviewed within 3 business days, and if approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued. Returns without an RMA will not be accepted. An on-site inspection may be required to verify the condition of the container, and inspection fees of up to $200 may apply; however, these fees are refundable if the return is approved.

If the return is approved, HR Container Service will coordinate return shipping through our logistics partners. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error, such as a defective or incorrect container. Before pickup, customers must ensure the container is empty, secure, and accessible, and that it meets all site preparation requirements outlined in the Shipping Policy.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued for approved returns once the container has been received and inspected at our facility. Refunds cover the container purchase price but exclude original shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by HR Container Service.

Refunds are processed via hrcontainerservice.com to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned container has been received and verified. Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s bank or payment provider.

A restocking fee of 10% to 20% of the container price may apply to returns that are not due to company error. Additional deductions may also apply for inspection costs, damage or wear discovered during inspection, or failure to comply with return preparation requirements. Original delivery fees, taxes, and additional service charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

5. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before dispatch by contacting info@hrcontainerservice.com or through the customer portal on hrcontainerservice.com, in which case a full refund of the purchase price and delivery fees will be issued within 3–5 business days.

If an order is canceled after dispatch but before delivery, a restocking fee of 10% to 20% of the container price and any incurred shipping costs will apply. Cancellations after delivery are treated as returns and are subject to the terms outlined in Sections 3 and 4 of this Policy.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are available for defective or incorrectly delivered containers within 30 days for standard containers and 45 days for modified containers. Requests for exchanges for other reasons are subject to approval and are typically processed as a return followed by a new purchase.

To request an exchange, customers must contact info@hrcontainerservice.com or use the customer portal on hrcontainerservice.com with order details and a description of the issue. If approved, HR Container Service will arrange for the return and delivery of a replacement container. Customers are responsible for return and delivery costs unless the issue is due to our error. Replacement containers are subject to availability, and if unavailable, a refund or store credit may be offered.

7. International Orders

Containers delivered internationally may be returned; however, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and additional charges such as port handling fees. All returns must meet the eligibility requirements and follow the process outlined in this Policy.

International orders may be canceled before dispatch for a full refund. Cancellations after dispatch are subject to restocking fees and shipping charges. Exchanges for international orders are limited and handled on a case-by-case basis depending on logistics feasibility.

8. Defective or Incorrect Containers

If a container is delivered in a defective condition, such as structural damage affecting functionality, or if an incorrect container is supplied, HR Container Service will cover return shipping and inspection costs.

Customers must report such issues within 72 hours of delivery by contacting info@hrcontainerservice.com or through the customer portal, providing photos and a detailed description. After verification, customers will receive either a replacement container or a full refund, including delivery charges, processed within 5–10 business days.

9. Security and Payment Processing

All payments and refunds are processed securely via hrcontainerservice.com, which uses industry-standard security measures including PCI DSS compliance, AES-256 encryption, and secure tokenization. 10. Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HR Container Service and its logistics partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from returns, cancellations, or exchanges. Liability is limited to the container purchase price or delivery cost, whichever is lower.

11. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of Lehi, State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
