A shipping container chassis is the wheeled trailer frame that a container sits on for road transport. It is not a container and it is not a flatbed trailer — it is a purpose-built skeletal frame with twist locks at the corner positions, designed so a container can be dropped on, locked down and hauled without ever being unloaded. If you are moving containers between a yard, a rail ramp and a port on your own trucks, the chassis is what makes that possible.
We currently list the used 53ft Hyundai container chassis from 2011, sized for domestic 53ft intermodal boxes rather than standard 40ft ISO units. Chassis stock turns over as it is sourced, so if you need a different length or specification, contact us and we will look for it.
Pairing a chassis with a box? Our high cube container range includes the 53ft domestic sizes this chassis carries. For anything else, tell us what you are hauling and we will advise on the right combination.
