Used 40ft Cargo-Worthy Shipping Container
A well-priced 40 ft container that has done its service in international shipping and been inspected against cargo-worthy standards before sale. Structurally sound, guaranteed wind and watertight, and still plated — suitable for long-term storage, for onward shipping, or as the starting shell for a conversion.
Cargo-worthy or standard used?
Cargo-worthy is the grade to ask for when the container may still be loaded onto a truck, rail car or vessel — or when you simply want the tightest structural standard available in a used box. It sits a step above a general wind and watertight unit and a step below one-trip stock. If the box is going to sit in a compound for a decade and never move again, a standard used 40 ft covers it for less.
As a conversion shell
The 12 m internal length makes this the usual starting point for conversion work — lining and insulation, door and window cut-ins, partitioning, or a full respray to a RAL color of your choice, all available at additional cost. Note that cutting into the shell will void the CSC plate, so specify the conversion knowing the container becomes static.
