30ft One-Trip Container — Cut Down
A cut-down container answers a specific problem: the site will not take a full 40 ft box, but a 20 ft unit is not enough. The alternative — buying two smaller containers — costs you a set of doors and an internal wall to the join, and leaves you with two things to secure instead of one.
Here the shell is cut to 30 ft and the rear end rebuilt with fabricated panels and corner posts, so the finished unit behaves like a purpose-made 30 ft container rather than a shortened one. It is prepared and resprayed inside and out before dispatch.
The difference from our used cut-down units is the donor. This one starts as a one-trip container, so the steel is unpitted and the paint is effectively new. That is worth paying for when the container will be visible — from a house, a forecourt, a customer entrance — rather than hidden in a compound.
Important: this container cannot be used for shipping. Cutting the shell voids its CSC plate. It is a static storage unit.
